CSF and NHS Application Deadline

Friday, January 19th, 2018

Both the CSF and NHS are community service based, honor clubs. They are not the PHS honor roll, or scholarships. There are scholarship opportunities in both clubs for active members, as well as recognition of seniors at graduation. In order to be members, students must apply, membership is not automatic.

California Scholarship Federation - CSF

Must apply for membership each semester
Grades in core classes must be primarily A's and B's
No D's or F's in any course

National Honor Society - NHS

One Time Application
Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher

(Special Note- due to the large number of independent study students, there is a delay in updating transcripts into the Parchment ordering service, students will not need a transcript attached to their NHS application)

Click here for more information about both clubs

All applications must be submitted by January 19th.

No digital copies via email will be accepted.

Helpful hint

If you want to be able to take either an ACT or SAT exam when it is held at PHS, you need to register early !

Register at least three weeks before the registration deadline!
If you wait, you may be assigned a testing site in Sacramento.

The ACT and SAT tests are frequently filled up with students from Davis, Esparto and Winters because Pioneer students waited too long!
