PHS Around Town
All textbooks and library books are due by June 5th (the last day of school). If you no longer need your textbooks, returns are happily accepted NOW. The library will be open at 7:30 am for book return.
Remember, books not returned will delay obtaining your fall class schedule and any athletic clearance.
All Seniors, your deadline for all books is May 28th.

Community Summer Programs
WJUSD Summer School
Students who will be in grade 9-12 may attend Summer School held at Pioneer High School
Summer School runs from June 15, 2015 - July 15, 2015
Students who register during the Walk-in session may be placed on a waiting list, based on enrollment.
Students are only allowed a total of three (3) days absence from Summer school. Students will be dropped on the 4th absence, excused or unexcused.
School rules will be consistently enforced beginning the first day of school, including the WJUSD Dress Code. Please ensure your child is appropriately attired and prepared to begin summer coursework.
Pioneer High School Counseling
Pioneer High School Counselors will NOT be on campus during Summer school for Fall schedule changes. All new enrollments and Fall schedule changes can and will be done in August prior to the start of the Fall semester.
Summer Classes @ WCC
Students who have completed the Eighth grade may be admitted on a part-time basis subject to the following requirements.
Students are subject to all rules, regulations and fees at the college. The enrollment fee will be waived for eligible students, but the Student Services Fee (and Non-Resident Tuition if applicable) will be charged.
Contact your counselor for further information if you wish to enroll in a college course, and complete the High School Permit to Attend

Students - To use your school loop account, you will need to reset your password in the library or in one of the computer labs. If you forget your password, you must reset it in the library, sending a "forgot password" request will not work.
Parents- If your child is new to Pioneer this year, you will need to register for an account. All you need is an email address and your child's student ID number, which is printed on their schedule. School Loop accounts do not transfer from Douglass Middle School.
Class Specific Messages
Remind is an on-line site that sends text messages to all who sign up. It will be used to send information about school events and reminders about important deadlines.

Upcoming College Planning Activities
If you want to be able to take either an ACT or SAT exam when it is held at PHS, you need to register early !
Register at least two weeks before the registration deadline !
If you wait, you may be assigned a testing site in Sacramento.
The Fall ACT and SAT tests are frequently filled up with students from Davis, Esparto and Winters because Pioneer students waited too long!
August 7 - ACT registration deadline for September 12 Exam - Class of 2016
Fall 2015 SAT registration deadline dates will be announced in early July, sign up when you can !
